Lazy farming is here with Aquaponics. If you love fish and enjoy exploring new ways of growing plants you need to check out this type of farming. The best part to me is no more digging, plowing, and having the hot sun at your back and dealing with the lingering body heat from sunburn. This type of farming may or may not be for you, but take a look it. Visit the gardening section of Infotrish at http://www.Infotrish.com and review Aquaponics 4 You.

Have you tried gardening with aquaponics. It is a water and fish gardening system which has been around for awhile, but because of the economy it is becoming quite popular. If you happen to have an fish aquarium in storage, pull it out and give it a try. Fill the tank with fish, add seedlings, the waste material from the fish feeds the plants. The plants keep the tank clean. Just feed and keep the fish healthy and you will be producing fresh fruits and vegetables for your table. You can also eat the fish. I realize I have written this rather simply so you will need to look at Aquaponices 4 You on my hobbies page and click the code.

Hydroponic or Aquaponic The hydroponic system grows plants in a medium of gravel, a variety of fibers, or sand. Mediums which allow plant roots to fasten and anchor. No soil is used. No digging, no weeding, no pests, and usually no diseases as the mediums are sterile. Plants receive their nutrition from water and a blend of mixed fertilizers which are absorbed through the roots. The aquaponic system grows plants in a medium of water and fish. Soil is replaced with water and the fish waste products provide natural fertilizer for essential plant nutrients. No spading, no weeding, no pesticides, and no additional fertilizers are needed. The fruits and vegetables are healthy, tasty, and nutritious. Just feed the fish.
